Kitchen distributor Waterline has appointed Sam Thompson to the role of contract designer.

She will support the company’s regional sales managers with the design of kitchens, bedrooms and home office layouts.

Waterline has recently welcomed Nikki Stewart and Simon Beard as regional sales managers for North London and North Wales and part of the West Midlands, respectively.

With 19 years’ KBB experience, her career has spanned across retail, merchants and manufacturers, working with B2B and B2C clients.

Thompson has also undertaken industry-related courses, having completed the Foundation Degree in Kitchen Design, as well as The Principles of Kitchen Design led by Renee Mascari

Joining Waterline from merchant Huws Gray, Thompson was responsible for looking after accounts for building materials nationally.

Prior to this she was a team leader for the national showroom design team at Buildbase, looking after and developing business from its national kitchen and bathroom accounts.

Commenting on her new role, Sam  Thompson said: “I am incredibly excited to have started my journey with Waterline; everyone has been so welcoming and it’s great to join such a brilliant supportive team.

“I am incredibly passionate about KBB design and enjoy working with developers and builders. I’m very much looking forward to applying my prior knowledge to my new position and contributing to the company’s success in the contract department.”
