Elektra Downdraft now available from Airuno

The Elektra Downdraft Extractor comes in a choice of black glass or stainless steel

Designer cooker hoods brand Airuno has introduced the retractable Elektra Downdraft Extractor to its collection.

Available in either black glass or stainless steel, and in 900 and 1,200mm sizes, it has an extraction rate of 730 m3/h and features a full-length LED strip light to illuminate the cooking area.

The Elektra Downdraft extractor also features a customisable top plate, which can be fitted with the same worktop material as used in the rest of the kitchen.

It has also been designed with a collection channel, to prevent spillages; washable metal grease filters  and an anti-crush safety system to prevent injury when the downdraft retracts.

Elektra rises to a height of 30omm above the work surface when in operation, retracts when not in use, operates and comes with a remote control.

Offering four speed settings, the Elektra is A-energy rated and operates at a noise levels of 42-66dB.

It adds to the company’s downdraft offer, which also includes the Zaira.

Launched in 2008, Airuno is the distributor of Italian-designed cooker hoods and boasts more than 40 models in its collection.

These not only include downdraft models, but also ceiling hoods, cupboard hoods, wall hoods and island hoods.
