Glass Design unveils Slide basin

Basin is available in five sizes and a choice of 17 finishes

At Italian bathroom exhibition Cersaie, Glass Design unveiled its Slide basin which boasts a rim of 4mm.

Made from VetroFreddo, it is available in five sizes, each of which comes in a choice of 17 finishes.

Slide is offered in 340 x 340mm, 400 x 400mm, 440 x 440mm, 500 x 500mm and 600 x 400mm versions.

Designers can choose the Slide basin in a matt finish, such as White, Cedro, Powder Pink, Sage Green, Avio, Tortora, Fumo and Black or gloss in White and Ferrari Red.

However, Slide is also available in Lux Leaf in a choice of Silver, Gold or Copper Leaf through to Old Metal variants of Old Brass, Old Copper, Old Bronze and Old Dark Inox.

Glass Design also recently joined forces with Karim Rashid to create the Marea basin.

The company was founded in 1984 in Vinci, Tuscany, by the Borsellini family who had a background in manufacturing artistic glass.

Now, as well as Murano glass, the company also uses silicone and stainless steel to create a variety of basins.

It employs more than 200 artisans and 15 glass makers of Murano in its production facilities and it exports to over 60 countries worldwide.
