Expanding its Colour Collection, Grohe has introduced two matte black finishes using Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) technology.

According to the manufacturer, PVD results in finishes three times harder and ten times more scratch-resistant than galvanized finishes.

Matte Black products are available as part of the Grohe QuickFix portfolio, while the more premium option of Phantom Black has been added to the Grohe Professional sub-brand.

Thanks to a lacquer-coating technique, the company states its Phantom Black finish is more durable and more resistant against corrosion, fading and scratches, plus is more repellent to visible fingerprints than power coated Matte Black.

These latest finishes add to those in the Colour Collection, which spans SuperSteel, through to Cool Sunrise, Warm Sunset and Hard Graphite and are available across  taps, showers, flushplates and matching accessories.

The company has also recently re-introduced its luxury Grohe Spa sub-brand, a decade after it was originally launched.
