HIX: 7 must-visit stands

Hix marks the first industry exhibition for Grohe since the onset of the pandemic and will also be the first event where the brand will showcase its newly accredited Cradle to Cradle Certified products.

The C2C concepts enables Grohe to reduce the use of new resources, and products are manufactured with the intent of using its components at its end-of-life stage.

To coincide with the event, Grohe is also launching the next module in its series of RIBA-approved CPDs: Circularity in the bathroom and kitchen with Cradle-to-Cradle certification.

Grohe will be inviting visitors to its spa-inspired room set, which is part of a new premium spa and wellness-focused concept currently in development.

The space will be created with re-envisioned designs of its Allure brassware range.

Showering manufacturer Roman secured an exhibition stand at the launch of interiors and design-led event HIX.

The company will be displaying bespoke showering solutions, alongside Corian fabrication and solid surface moulding capabilities.

In addition, Roman will showcase its flexibility in design, highlighted by a choice of glass thickness and 16 colours of frame finish, including Silver Chrome, Matt Black, Brushed Nickel, Polished Nickel and Brushed Brass.

Official sponsor of this year’s edition, lighting company LEDS C4 will highlight some of its best-selling products from its Decorative Collection catalogue.

It will include Tubs, Trip and Trip Glass, as well as its Noway collection which includes a new pendant.

Designed by Francesco Vilaro, the Noway pendant has been designed with notable dematerialisation to provide a weightless aesthetic with minimal material use.

The collection also offers a version to provide more complex choices, with a double shade where colours can be combined, to provide more visual presence.

Sharing the same name as the show, JTP will unveil its HIX collection of brassware, showers, accessories and radiators.

The collection boasts soft curves with a square profile and spans Brushed Brass, Matt Black and Chrome finishes.

HIX has been created to add a pop of colour to a bathroom space and provide a cohesive bathroom design, as well as pair with statement tiles.

The Roca Group will focus on sustainability as its guiding ethos, not only through the products on display but also the fabrication of the stand.

It will use recycled copper, acrylic and plastics with parts of the stand repurposed for future events to ensure its longevity.

The stand will include its In-Wash In-Tank shower toilet, touchless flush plates and sensor-controlled basin mixers.

In addition, it will highlight coloured ceramics in its Beyond, Inspira and Ruy Ohtake basins and Insignia and Naia brassware in Rose Gold and Titanium Black mixers

Part of the Roca Group, Laufen will be positioned near to the main entrance alongside the Roca brand.

Visitors will be able to see products from Kartell by Laufen, Sonar and Ino against a backdrop of the recent Kartell by Laufen creative campaign devised by Hugo Comte, who is known for fashion photography.

In keeping with his usual style, he has produced shots where models seem to be playing with the ceramic and plastic components of the collection, almost wearing them or transforming them into accessories.

The campaign has been created to break through the boundaries of the bathroom.

Brassware and bathroom accessories manufacturer Keuco will be showing IMXO showering in a black variant.

It is available in eight sizes from 900 x 900mm up to 1400 x 1000mm and in a choice of 31 colours.

Also on the main stand will be the elliptical-shaped freestanding bath – BetteEve Oval Silhouette and a range of Bette washbasins.

In addition, in a secondary display, Bette will highlight Batte Anti-Slip Sense, which is almost invisible and can be used on baths and shower trays in a gloss finish.

VitrA | Liquid

Created in collaboration with British designer Tom Dixon, the Liquid collection will be the focus of the VitrA stand.

Liquid is a full bathroom range in a stripped back and reduced style, encompassing sanitaryware, furniture, taps, showers, accessories and tiles.

At HIX, VitrA will present a selection of washbasins and mixers, as well as a WC, flushplate and urinal, alongside illuminated mirror and thermostatic shower column in gloss black.

These will be shown alongside a range of accessories, from a ceramic stool through to double soap dispenser and toilet roll holder.

Completing the ine-up will be the range of wall tiles, available in a choice of five patterns.
