As part of the company’s 150th anniversary celebrations, bathroom manufacturer Kohler has introduced a global collection of 12 Artist Editions products, created by four female artists from four countries.
This limited-edition collection has been created by Ananda Nahu from Brazil, Ziling Wang from China, Pushpa Kumari from India and Elle from the United States.
Ananda Nahu is recognised for her vibrant murals and she created Flora Tropical for Artist Editions.
Ziling Wang is renowned for the invention and use of paint, that can be removed from the canvas and viewed in three dimensions, and produced A World on Strings (pictured).
Whereas Pushpa Kumari who is known for intricate line paintings, and is acclaimed as redefining India’s Mithila tradition, unveiled Aranya.
Completing the Artist Editions is graffiti artist Elle from the United States, who creates large scale projects, and produced Falling Gently.
The creators were given carte blanche to combine their artwork with Kohler’s products – the Numi 2.0 smart toilet, Brazn sink, and Brazn bathtub.
Each product within the collection will be offered in a quantity of 150, honoring Kohler’s anniversary year.
Kohler’s Artist Editions products date back nearly four decades and are created to push boundaries of decorative processes, inspired by marrying visual art with manufacturing craftsmanship.
