Partnering with Swiss designer Peter Wirz, Laufen has created the Meda bathroom collection, spanning sanitaryware, brassware and furniture.

All the basins boast straight exterior lines with interior curves to create a spacious bowl,  a shallow rim to avoid splashes and space for toiletries.

They are completed by Meda WCs with Laufen’s Silent Flush technology which, according to the manufacturer, guides the water along an “optimised” spiral path, using minimum water to create a “strong yet virtually silent” swirl.

Meda sanitaryware comes in a variety of finishes, including White, Matt White, Matt Graphite, and Matt Black, with optional Laufen Clean Coat on the glaze.

Whereas Meda baths come with Matt Traffic Grey or Matt Black interiors with contrasting white interiors and are made from Marbond composite, allowing for slim walls.

Completing the Meda bathroom collections are vanity units with slim wall to complement the basins and a grip handle, offering a total of 43 colours or finishes.

Beyond the standard Matt White, Traffic Grey, Wild Oak and Cappuccino, Meda offers special metallic colours and a range of lacquered colours.

It follows on from the launch of the refreshed Il Bagno Alessi Collection at ISH 2023.
