Mira Showers is launching the Activate digital shower online tonight (December 1) at 7pm GMT on the company’s YouTube channel and Gas App’s live lounge.

Celebrating its live launch, Mira will be giving away five Activates and an iPhone 12 to winners during the evening.

Available in single and dual outlets, the Mira Activate is designed for new installations as well as to specifically retrofit the Aqualisa Quartz.

The ceiling-fed fittings kit comes pre-assembled, and it has two digital valve platforms suitable for both high and low pressure systems.

Thanks to its direct retrofit design, Mira reports there is minimal pipework alteration required – which means no new holes or new tiles and it boasts a three-pin plug, for ‘plug and play’.

Boasting a digital controller, it enables users to create up to 10 shower pre-sets (with four default pre-sets included), and informs them how much time – and water – their showers take up.

It has a chrome plated finish, with controller bezel accessories available to purchase separately in matt black, brushed nickel and titanium finishes.

In addition, a wireless remote control accessory is also available as a separate purchase.

Earlier this year, Mira Showers produced PPE for frontline workers in the NHS, producing 12,000 face masks in two weeks.
