The contemporary collection, which fuses European and North American styling, will sit alongside sister brands Perrin & Rowe, Victoria+Albert and Shaws of Darwen.

There will be around 300 SKUs available to designers in the Riobel brand,  across mixers, shower sets and accessories, with four bathroom collections and five kitchen collections.

These include Venty (pictured), which features defined lines and sharp edges, plus Parabola which won the Good Design Award  in the U.S. and boasts softened edges with rounded corners.

These are joined by Paradox, which blends a cylindrical body with flat edges and GS which is a simple, versatile style to complement a myriad of interior spaces and can work with contemporary or traditional fittings.

The Riobel brand was created by a third generation plumber Mario Belisle, who originally founded distribution company Selection 25 in 1995 before acquiring Toronto-based Baldwin Faucets in 1999.

Shifting its focus from distribution to the design and creation of taps and showers, the company moved to its current location in St Jerome and rebranded as Riobel.
