Bathroom manufacturer Roca recently held an online global launch for its Ona bathroom collection, which means Wave in Catalan and has been inspired by the Mediterranean Sea.

The collection includes sanitaryware, furniture, brassware and accessories and boasts Roca’s latest materials and technologies to enhance hygiene and comfort levels.

Developed by the Roca Design Centre team, in collaboration with international design studios Noa Design and Benedito Design, the timeless collection is defined by soft shapes in geometric lines.

Noa Design created a wide range of basins manufactured from Fineceramic, which allows for finer and lighter pieces, and includes countertop basins in rectangular and round shapes in gloss and matt white.

Fineceramic boasts a sustainable production process: it generates zero waste, as the material is natural and the weight reduction positively impacts firing and transport, reducing CO2 emissions.

The glossy white basin has the option of Supraglaze coating, which provides a super smooth finish to allow residue to slide off, and prevents dirt buildup.

Supraglaze is also used on the co-ordinating rimless WCs in wall-hung, close-coupled and floor-standing models, as well as compact versions and wall-hung and back-to-wall bidets.

This WC range also stands out for its extra height to provide greater comfort, as well as a larger flush button.

Complementing the sanitaryware is the Ona furniture range which a choice of one or two-drawers or doors in Matt White, Matt Grey, Dark Elm, Light Oak and Matt Green.

Conceived by Benedito Design is Ona brassware which boasts a slim, cylindrical body, available in a choice of heights and spout lengths with a flat minimalistic handle.

It boasts eco-efficency features with a Cold Start system, flow limiter and ceramic cartridge with reduced diameter to reduce water and energy consumption.

Ona brassware is available in four finishes: Chrome with Evershine electrolytic coating, Titanium Black and Rose Gold Everlux PVD finish and Matt black.

The range spans basin mixers, showers and a choice of wall-mounted and built-in bath fillers, kitchen mixers and models for public bathrooms, with touchless operation.

In addition, Ona also includes a Stonex bathtub which, according to Roca, has antislip properties and is resistant to abrasion.

There is a choice of built-in tubs in two dimensions and models for corner-right or corner-left installation.

Completing the Ona bathroom collection is an accessory pack with countertop tray, container, soap dispenser and tumbler, which come in Matt White, Matt Grey and Matt Green.

Manufactured with recyclable materials, they have been designed to fit the basin shelf or the drawers of the furniture when not in use.
