German extractor manufacturer Berbel has introduced Downline Infinity, a venting hob which measures 900mm wide and 500mm deep and can be installed in kitchen islands.
It boasts an induction hob with four cooking zones and also has a bridging zone to combine two for a larger cooking area.
In addition, Downline Infinity boasts two smart zones, which can detect the size of the cookware and automatically heat the appropriate area.
The hob and extractor are operated by a touch control, slider and structured menus with sub-menus and customisable settings.
Downline Infinity boasts an extraction fan where air is sucked in through an inflow grid with tilted bars.
The centrally positioned Powermover can be moved to the right or to the left to increase power on the respective side.
Downline Infinity is compatible with ducted and recycled operation, as well as the Berbel regenerative filter system – permalyt.
