Building on the trend for industrial-style kitchens, sink and tap manufacturer Blanco UK has introduced a range of concrete-effect sinks.

The latest concrete colour is available in a choice of eight Silgranit sinks, across three ranges of Etagon, Vintera and Metra.

According to Blanco, every sink is unique in terms of the way the finish appears, with gradients which differ, just like real, polished concrete.

The manufacturer also claims it has the same tactile qualities as concrete but is more hardwearing and is antibacterial, making the sink easy to keep clean.

It follows on from the launch of its Evol-S Pro Hot and Filter tap, which is a 4-in-1 model which can dispense a precise amount of water so no measuring is required.

Founded over 90 years’ ago by Heinrich Blanc, the company is headquartered in southwest Germany and has subsidiaries in Europe, North America and Asia.

Together with its trading partners, Blanco has a presence in around 100 countries across the world.
