Comprising modular pieces, that facilitate cooking and dining; alfresco, inside or both, it features concrete capping and stone ebbing designed to withstand the elements.

The modules are available in a range of sizes from 700mm to 1200mm and accommodate sink, cooking, workspace and refrigeration.

Countertops come in a choice of finishes from Caesarstone concrete to Dekton, Neolith or Quartz.

While outdoor appliances, including a six-burner barbeque, are provided by Australian brand Beefeater.

Alfresco is seen here with Brookmans’ K1 kitchen with rattan panels, Guatemala marble, Crema Evora stone and integrated herb garden.

Brand director of Brookmans by Smallbone David Reid commented: “We wanted to design a kitchen that enhances wellbeing by fully integrating our indoor and outdoor spaces, maximising the easy flow between kitchen and garden.

“The result is a collection where tactile materials extend seamlessly from inside, out.

“The flexible modular systems and components – including outdoor refrigeration, a six-burner barbeque and single gas stove – ensure total functionality.”

Alfresco joins the brand’s existing collections K1 and K2, with all three made at the company’s worktop in Wiltshire.

These collections are sold exclusively by British design store Heal’s and are available to view at its Tottenham Court Road store in London.

Award-winning designer Darren Morgan of Designer Kitchen by Morgan recently spoke to Kitchens & Bathrooms News about the trend for outdoor living.
