Designed to provide discreet extraction, kitchen appliance supplier Caple has just introduced a range of built-under glass hoods.
They can be used to create a minimalist look in an open-plan kitchen or are suited for small kitchens, as they are integrated beneath a kitchen wall unit.
Boasting B-rated energy efficiency, the models have a black glass aesthetic, illuminated touch controls and two 1.5W LED lights to illuminate the hob below.

The BU525BK model measures 520mm wide, while the BU775 is 750mm wide, and both have a 295mm depth and 308mm width.
Boasting four speeds plus a boost function, the BU525BK operates with a maximum extraction rate of 527m3/h and the BU755BK at 535m3/h and both operate at a maximum sound level of 66dB.
Caple has recently opened a Caple Studio showroom at its Bristol HQ featuring furniture, appliances, sinks and taps from its portfolio.
Sintered stone manufacturer Neolith has launched Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset, inspired by nature and classical architecture, and for use in kitchens or bathrooms walls, floors, in gardens or facades.
They belong to The New Classtone and Fusioncollections which interpret marble and natural stone, respectively, and boast Neolith’s antibacterial NeolEAT technology.
Inspired by Ancient Rome, Calacatta Roma (pictured top) pays homage to Italian Carrara marble, with ochre and grey veins in a white background.
While the Cappadocia region, in central Turkey, with its rock formations formed by volcanoes and underground cities, has inspired Cappadocia Sunset (pictured below).
Just like all of Neolith’s surfaces, Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset are resistant to heat and atmospheric conditions, are 100% recyclable, and do not contain added quartz to their formulation.
