Caple | CMS260 combination microwave with steam

Household appliance specialist Caple has added a Wi-Fi-enabled combination microwave with steam, the CMS260, to its Sense Premium Collection.

It means users can steam, grill, bake and microwave using one built-in appliance with touch controls or using the Caple Home app from a smartphone or tablet.

The CMS260 has 14 functions including Steam+, where the temperature ranges from 40-100°C and has an automatic setting duration of 20 minutes. However, users can set the cooking time from 1 minute up to 9 hours 59 minutes.

In addition, it boasts a microwave combi and steam setting where the microwave and steam will alternate.

Completing the feature is a descale function, which Caple states will only be required every three months regardless of the hardness of the water.

This combination microwave and steam oven join’s Caple’s pyrolytic oven, the C2600, in the same collection.

Product manager Luke Shipway explained: “We have added the CMS260 to our Sense Premium collection to meet multiple cooking news for the homeowner within just one appliance in the kitchen.

This state-of-the-art model, allows you to use steam to prepare fresh food, which will retain all the nutrients but you can also benefit from all the capabilities you would expect from a luxury microwave oven.

“The fact that this appliance is Wi-Fi enabled adds yet another string to its bow.”
