NikolaTesla Fit is available in two hob widths of 600mm and 720mm, but both fit in a standard 600mm base.

The hob fits flush in the work surface and boasts a push to open flap which will start the extractor.

In addition, the hob has a bridge function which allows two zones to be joined together to create a single area for large rectangular and oval pans.

It also has an outlet to drain any spillages on the hob’s surface.

NikolaTesla Fit creates an air speed of up to 5m/s to extract high smoke and odours and has an Autocapture function which sets the suction power automatically.

In the recirculating version, Elica claims its ceramic filters ensure up to 80% of fumes are captured compared to an industry norm of 60%.

These ceramic filters can be regenerated in the oven for up to five years.

It follows on from the launch of the NikolaTesla Libra, a combined hob and extractor with integrated weighing scales.
