According to the company, the Tariff Mode is the first of its kind in a heat storage cooker and enables users to optimise energy use.

The cooker downloads tariff data for the following day and shifts the times for Eco Off and Eco On to align with cheaper electricity rates.

Already renowned for its commitment to renewables and energy efficiency, Everhot’s new Follow-the-Sun feature now allows users to select their location, enabling the cooker to automatically adjust its heat up and slumber times to coincide with local sunrise and sunset.

By customising solar delays, users can fine-tune these times to better align with the energy generation profile of their solar panels, ensuring maximum efficiency, sustainability, and lower energy bills.

Everhot’s Grid Aware mode also helps improve cooker efficiency, while supporting the National Gri,. By monitoring the grid’s frequency and adjusts the cooker’s temperature to help balance supply and demand.

If the grid is under strain the cooker temporarily reduces its temperature to lower power consumption. Conversely, if there is excess power the cooker increases its temperature to absorb the surplus energy.

According to Everhot, Grid Aware mode also benefits off-grid systems like solar panels or wind turbines, optimising energy use to prevent waste and avoid overloading local systems.

However, when the cooker needs to be on regardless of external factors like energy pricing or grid conditions, the Sacred Hours feature allows users to set specific times when the cooker will remain at cooking temperatures.
