Premium appliance manufacturer Fisher & Paykel has launched a French door fridge freezer with flat doors and recessed handles to fit flush with kitchen furniture.

Available in matt black glass or stainless steel, the fridge freezer also features a slimline water dispenser, with a dedicated ice bin which can be turned off to create additional space or boosted to offer 30% more ice.

The French door fridge freezer boasts the ActiveSmart control system, which anticipates future use by sensing environmental conditions and understanding how consumers use their fridge.

It means the appliance can analyse and adjust the temperature, air flow and humidity to deliver optimal results throughout the fridge and freezer.

In addition, the fridge freezer can rapidly chill new food and quickly freeze foods to maintain moisture.

Completing the design of this premium appliance is soft close drawers,  full extension slides to ease access, as well as adjustable storage shelves.

It follows on from the launch of the TFT oven, integrated fridge freezer and column refrigeration, including wine cabinets, which were revealed on the Fisher & Paykel stand at KBB Birmingham in 2020.
