Answering the call for sustainable products within the kitchen, sink and tap manufacturer Franke has introduced the Active Tap range to save water, energy and money.

Featuring an ECO-Cartridge, the new Active Tap range is claimed to reduce water usage by up to 50%.

The tap range features a two-step tap lever which initially opens halfway, to deliver water with enough pressure to suit tasks such as handwashing, filling the kettle or washing the dishes.

It also features a dual spray option for improved performance, delivering a stream via a needle spray.

A laminar aerator fitted in the spout of the Active Taps has been designed to deliver a non-splashing stream, with reduced noise.

In addition, the range boasts a temperature limiter, operated by turning the ring nut inside of the handle, allows users to reduce the amount of hot water used saving both energy and money.

Available in J-Spout and L-Spout designs, pull-out spray and swivel spout options and Chrome, Matt Black and Decor Steel finishes, the Active tap is suitable for high pressure systems and backed by a 5-year warranty.

The launch of Franke Active Taps follows on from an upgrade of its Vital Capsule tap range.
