Franke unveils Krios tap

Available in five finishes, including Brass

The Krios J-Spout tap from Franke combines a classic swan neck design with a choice of five design-led finishes.

Available in Brass (pictured), Graphite, SilkSteel, Smokey Mirror and Chrome, Krios boasts “easy to operate” levers and an in-built aerator to delivers ‘champagne like’ water flow.

Krios has an overall height of 391mm high with a reach of 216mm and replaces the Olympus range.

It comes complete with a five-year warranty on working parts, with one year on the finish.

It adds to Franke’s contemporary Maris Free mixer tap, created by artist Dror Benshetrit.

Established for more than a century, Swiss manufacturer Franke was founded as a sheet metal business in 1911 by Hermann Franke.

It made its first sink unit in 1925 from galvanised copper sheet and a decade later produced its first model in stainless steel.

Now the company manufactures sinks, taps, cooker hoods and coffee machines for the residential market.

It has 68 subsidiaries in 40 countries and has worldwide net sales of CHF 2.1billion.
