Home appliance brand Haier has introduced the I-Pro Series 5 connected washing machine and washer dryer to its laundry line-up.

Boasting a 10kg capacity, I-Pro Series 5 appliances have a 595mm drum to ease loading and unloading, even in slim machines.

Available in White and Graphite, they are powered by direct motion motor to reduce noise, vibration and energy consumption, while increasing durability of the appliances.

Consumers can connect the I-Pro Series 5 with the hOn app to remotely control the appliance, browse stain removal tips, access over 60 specialised cycles and monitor consumption.

It includes the Washing-Lens Function to scan clothes labels so the machines can set the best washing cycle.

In addition, the washer dryer boasts the i-Refresh program to soften, sanitise and clean garments without washing them.

Completing the laundry specification, I-Pro Series 5 features Haier antibacterial technology to protect the detergent drawer and porthole against mould and bacteria and the Smart Dual Spray system, which is activated at the end of each cycle.

Haier will showcase its Smart Home Concept at Milan Design Week from September 4-10, 2021.
