Hotpoint has introduced its first line-up of ActiveCare Washer Dryers, with washing capacity up to 11kg, and featuring technology to remove stains at low temperatures.

Home appliance brand Hotpoint has introduced its first line-up of ActiveCare Washer Dryers, with washing capacity up to 11kg, and featuring technology to remove stains at low temperatures.

The technology premixes water and detergent to create a cleaning mousse to remove 100 stains at temperatures as low as 20°C.

In addition, the washer dryers can measure the moisture levels of clothes and sets the temperature the drum so a load, of any size, will come out dry.

The ActiveCare Washer Dryer features three Continuous Wash & Dry cycles including XS Rapid for daily loads of 1kg which are ready to wear in 45mins, Wash & Dry Mixed completed in 4 hours and XL Bed & Bath for bed linen and towels.

Endorsed by Allergy UK, ActiveCare washer dryers also boast Steam Hygiene technology which is claimed to remove up to 99.9% of viruses and bacteria from laundry. 

It works by injecting steam into the drum at the end of the cycle to clean the load and the Steam Refresh cycle eliminates bad odours and relaxes fibres, without washing, in 20 minutes.

Using a PRO-Inverter motor to provide a quiet operation on models with a 1400rpm spin speed, the Activecare Washer Dryer has white LEDs and comes in White, Graphite and Black.
