Designed to meet the trend for covered outdoor kitchens, luxury extraction specialist Westin Cooker Hoods has launched the BBQ Pro Hood.
According to the manufacturer, extracting heat and fumes from barbecue appliances in enclosed outdoor areas traditionally meant the only option had a remote motor and no lighting or onboard controls due to the intense heat from outdoor grilling equipment.
However, the BBQ Pro Hood features integrated heat-resistant, tuneable lighting, durable electronics, built-in controls, and motors which can withstand the high levels of heat.

These elements are brought together in a high grade 316 marine grade stainless steel body.
The BBQ Pro hood is available in three standard sizes of 1100mm, 1400mm and 1700mm.
It follows on from the launch of the Westin Prime 360 Hepa built-in hood, for indoors, designed to remove bacteria and viruses from the air.
Sintered stone manufacturer Neolith has launched Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset, inspired by nature and classical architecture, and for use in kitchens or bathrooms walls, floors, in gardens or facades.
They belong to The New Classtone and Fusioncollections which interpret marble and natural stone, respectively, and boast Neolith’s antibacterial NeolEAT technology.
Inspired by Ancient Rome, Calacatta Roma (pictured top) pays homage to Italian Carrara marble, with ochre and grey veins in a white background.
While the Cappadocia region, in central Turkey, with its rock formations formed by volcanoes and underground cities, has inspired Cappadocia Sunset (pictured below).
Just like all of Neolith’s surfaces, Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset are resistant to heat and atmospheric conditions, are 100% recyclable, and do not contain added quartz to their formulation.
