Artisan tile studio Otto Tiles & Design has launched the Starry Night collection, taking inspiration from Vincent Van Gogh’s famous painting.

Made from encaustic cement, the tiles are hexagonal and feature a bold celestial design.

Each box of Starry Night tiles contains plain colour tiles, as well as three variations of star tiles, with the star appearing in different sizes and positions.

According to the company, it invites a designer to create their own constellation.

The collection is available in five colours: Navy Blue, Dirty White, Candy, Light Green and a darker green tone, Bosco.

Made in Turkey by artisans, Otto Tiles & Design’s tiles are produced using pressure, rather than with heat, so are claimed to be eco-friendly.

The tiles are hand-poured and crafted, using traditional production techniques, so no two are the same, providing a rustic look.

The Starry Night collection is suitable for use in a range of environments, including indoors and outdoors, in high-traffic areas, wet rooms, for use with underfloor heating and for fireplaces.
