Quartz and composite stone surface manufacturer Stone Italiana has launched Cosmolite, a slab material made from 100% recycled minerals.

According to the company, Cosmolite is easy to process, fabricate and handle, and is scratch, stain and heat resistant up to 180oC.

It also boasts green certification, including LEED v4, GREENGUARD GOLD and NSF 51 Food Contact confirming low VOC emissions and safe use for worktops and cladding.

Cosmolite comes in 10 colours, which are grouped into three ranges: Cosmo, Meteor and Planet.

The Cosmo range has been designed to bring a “soft modern” edge to terrazzo and includes Cosmo, Mint (shown) and Astro.

Meteor decors are based upon monochrome, with a grainy pattern, and include Meteor Ice, Meteor Cold, Meteor Light and Meteor Dark.

Completing the collection are three colours in the Planet range which have fine variation in composition and colouration and span White Planet, Black Planet and Grey Planet.

Cosmolite from Stone Italiana is available in the UK through Italian Luxury Surfaces Ltd.
