Joining the LED lighting manufacturer from care products business

Yorkshire-based LED manufacturer TLW has appointed Marcel Ashmore as business development manager.

He joins the business with several years of sales experience working within the care products business.

Marcel Ashmore will become a key contact for training, support and knowledge for his customers, allowing them to improve the look of spaces using lighting.

Commenting on his new role, Ashmore said: “I am very passionate about helping people.

“My previous role involved working around hospices and neurological centres, advising them on which pressure care products were most suitable. This meant I was able to change lives.

“I will bring my enthusiasm for helping to this role as I work to become a key contact for training, support and knowledge for all my new customers.

“I absolutely love selling lighting and really enjoy giving people the ability to massively improve the look of spaces where people spend most of their lives.”

The appointment follows the promotion of Laura Shutkever to the new role of head of marketing.
