Retailers and builders offered new certification
Independent kitchen retailers and builders have the opportunity to sign up for FIRA Gold at a discounted rate, with a saving of £250.
Launched in response to requests from the kitchen industry, this certification means retailers are able to benefit from this mark of distinction for their services. The offer runs from Thursday September 12th until Thursday October 31st.
FIRA’s business development manager Sue Mann said: “FIRA Gold Installation Certification will reassure your customers of your commitment to excellence and delivering a first-class, professional installation service.”

The certification is awarded following an annual audit to ensure staff work to the best practice, industry standard and legislation. The certification includes a technical manual, annual audit and membership of FIRA, whilst benefits include adding value and reassurance to customers and marketing and PR opportunities.
Sintered stone manufacturer Neolith has launched Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset, inspired by nature and classical architecture, and for use in kitchens or bathrooms walls, floors, in gardens or facades.
They belong to The New Classtone and Fusioncollections which interpret marble and natural stone, respectively, and boast Neolith’s antibacterial NeolEAT technology.
Inspired by Ancient Rome, Calacatta Roma (pictured top) pays homage to Italian Carrara marble, with ochre and grey veins in a white background.
While the Cappadocia region, in central Turkey, with its rock formations formed by volcanoes and underground cities, has inspired Cappadocia Sunset (pictured below).
Just like all of Neolith’s surfaces, Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset are resistant to heat and atmospheric conditions, are 100% recyclable, and do not contain added quartz to their formulation.
