Bathroom distributor and importer Brausch and its sister company DHL Bathrooms has ceased to trade.

A notice on its website reads: “Brausch & Co (UK Limited) and her sister company DHL Bathroom Supplies Limited have now ceased trading.

“To all our friends, customers and colleagues may we thank you for all your support over the years.”

The company supplied European brands such as Keuco, Toto and Villeroy & Boch.

Brausch and DHL Bathroom Supplies distributed throughout Southern England, Wales, Midlands and parts of the Northwest.

Countryside manager of Keuco James Sketch commented: “We are deeply saddened by the news that Brausch & Co, a business with which we have enjoyed many years of trusted cooperation, has ceased trading.

“The whole Brausch team were always extremely helpful and efficient when working with us distributing Keuco in the UK and we are very sorry that this business decision had to be made.

“For Keuco customers affected by this please contact us as we are currently working with our other distributors to ensure the continued smooth running of orders for all projects.”

Director of distributor RO Arnolds Gary Baker added: “Myself and every single one of my colleagues at Arnolds have been deeply saddened to hear the sad news that Brausch/DHL have closed their doors for good.

“It is a terrible day for the bathroom industry to have lost such an established, professional, honorable and well respected company.

“It has been my pleasure to have worked shoulder to shoulder with you for nearly 30 years and I will miss you all dearly moving forward.

“My sincere best wishes go out to all of my friends at Brausch/DHL and of course [managing directors] Talal [Talal Brausch]  and Rick [Rick Jones].”
