After more than 20 years with tiling products supplier ARDEX and over 10 years with adhesive manufacturer BAL, managing director Peter Bell has passed the role onto his deputy David Hackett.
Peter Bell has not only led ARDEX and BAL but is also an ARDEX Global Management Committee member and holds roles on boards, including India, Ireland, and the Middle East, which he will retain until the end of 2023.
Australian-born David Hackett started his career with the ARDEX Group after the acquisition of Australian Building Adhesives (ABA), along with its sister company Building Adhesives Ltd (BAL) in 2001.

Moving to Europe in 2007, Hackett completed MBA studies in international business throughout several countries including Russia, United States, China, India, Romania, and Austria.
He worked at the ARDEX head office in German,y where he was responsible for global marketing for the ARDEX Group.
In 2011, Hackett moved to BAL in Stoke-on-Trent where he took on the role of sales & marketing director.
In 2016, he became general manager at Building Adhesives, and been part of the UK leadership team for the past six years, prior to alignment of Ardex and Bal and consolidation of UK management.
