West Yorkshire-based kitchen manufacturer Moores has scooped a regional sustainability award, reinforcing its green credentials.

The company has been presented a Yorkshire Sustainability Excellence Award, which recognises businesses across the country making permanent and positive changes to their environmental impact.

Judged by a panel of experts, Moores was presented the award for investment and plans to upgrade the company’s operations and infrastructure to more environmentally conscious solutions

The kitchen furniture manufacturer outlined the millions of pounds Moores has spent to revolutionise the way it works.

CEO at Moores Michael Barrett commented: “Our commitment to sustainability is at the core of all areas across Moores and we’re proud to have had our achievements recognised with such a fantastic award.

“This is just the start for us, and this year we have even more plans in the pipeline to ensure that we remain industry leaders who are serious about change.”

Moores also won the RoSPA Award in 2o23, reflecting its commitment to health and safety.
