“To feature in The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 for the third year running is a phenomenal result, given that it is notoriously difficult for companies to maintain such high growth levels as they increase in size.

“The fact that we continue to achieve such impressive and sustained growth is testament to our commitment to keep delivering superb products at great value with exceptional service whilst still significantly expanding our business.”

The company was founded in 2009, when Chris Li started selling taps and showers on eBay from his home.

In now sells over 1,000 products and in 2013, bathempire.com secured an £8.5million investment, allowing it to double the size of its headquarters and make a £5million move to Nuneaton creating 100 jobs.

Chris Li commented: “In recent years, the focus has been on developing our online presence and the next phase of development will centre on broadening our product range even further and increasing our brand awareness so we become more widely known.”

He added: “The challenge to remain in The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 will be even greater for next year but we will strive for it once again as we are on target for another record sales performance in 2014.”
