Bathroom retailer Bathroom Takeaway has teamed up with Manchester Foundation Trust Charity and Prevent Breast Cancer to raise money and awareness for its new appeal; ‘Build to Beat Breast Cancer.’
The ‘Build to Beat Breast Cancer’ appeal aims to raise funds for a new National Breast Imaging Academy training facility to be built at the Wythenshawe Hospital site, in Manchester.
The new building will provide training facilities to enable an extra 13,000 patients to be seen by clinical teams each year and offers additional capacity for research into breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Bathroom Takeaway is holding a charity raffle in advance of a showroom relaunch event, with prizes donated from suppliers including Scudo, Kartell UK and RAK Ceramics.
CEO of Bathroom Takeaway Simon Mei has agreed to match all donations raised from the charity raffle.
General manager at Bathroom Takeaway Tony Rands said it was important for the company to give back to the local community, particularly during the challenging economic environment.
He commented:“Times are hard for everyone at the moment with continued increases in cost of living and it’s all too apparent that those who will suffer during these times are those most in need, including well-established charities such as this one.
“We’re honoured and proud to be fundraising for a local charity and this particular appeal, which will see fantastic additions to Wythenshawe Hospital.
“As a local business, it’s crucial to give back and that’s exactly what Bathroom Takeaway is trying to do with the showroom relaunch event and the raffle.”
The charity raffle will be held on Thursday May 19 between 08:00-13:30 and donations and raffle entries can be made at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/bathroom-takeaway
