Bathroom manufacturer Bette has launched a design competition, calling on creative minds to design “the walk-in shower bathroom of the future”, featuring its BetteAir shower tile.

Bathroom manufacturer Bette has launched a design competition, calling on creative minds to design “the walk-in shower bathroom of the future”, featuring its BetteAir shower tile.

Bette launches BetteAir competition

Architects, designers, bathroom planners and students have the chance to win a personal feature on Bette’s social media channels, as well as a free BetteAir shower tile.

BetteAir can be glued directly onto the screed, making the shower area an integral part of the bathroom floor and seeming to merge with it.

It is available in a choice of 31 colours, so can be contrasted with the floor to highlight a shower area or chosen to blend in with the scheme.

To enter the competition, real or concept designs for the “walk-in shower bathroom of the future” must be submitted as a PDF, JPG or PNG image.

A jury including Dominik Tesseraux (Tesseraux & Partner, Potsdam), the designer of BetteAir, will select the “most exciting, unique and creative” design concepts from the entries.

The winner will be decided by a community vote on the company’s social media channels from July 7, 2021

In addition, direct voting is possible at, the Bette website where the CAD downloads and entry conditions can also be found. The deadline for entries is June 28, 2021.
