BK Nolte and Arthur Leaker to distribute Doca kitchen and bedroom furniture
Wrexham-based contract kitchen supplier BK Nolte Contracts (BKNC) has signed a five year deal to become an exclusive partner of Doca in England and Wales.
The partnership will see BKNC supply top-end brand kitchen and bedroom furniture from the Spanish manufacturer, allowing the company to become more pro-active in the premium sector.
In addition, a Doca showroom will be opening in Chester in March 2017.

Chairman of BKNC Bob Ruler commented: “We have brought the Doca Brand onboard as it fits perfectly into our portfolio. Its introduction into the BK Group will enable us to supply kitchen and bedroom furniture across the full spectrum and also to target the housebuilders who are constructing the more exclusive and bespoke residential projects.”
The BK Group now consists of BK Nolte Contracts, Doca Kitchens & Interiors, Kuhl Kitchens and BKoncepts. Alex Albiol of Doca’s export and design department added: “We are delighted to be working closely with BK Nolte Contracts. Both our companies have many years’ experience in supplying quality kitchen and bedroom products to the contract market and we believe this is the perfect environment for creating new business opportunities. Our new joint venture will take both companies to an even stronger position within the contract market over the coming years.”
In addition, Arthur Leaker has been named the sole import agent for the Doca brand in Scotland.
Leaker stated: “I am very excited to bring such a prestigious product to the market in Scotland and am looking forward to launching this new concept in kitchen furniture to both retail and trade sectors.”
Steve Holgate of London-based Doca UK, which exclusively supplied the kitchen and bathroom furniture throughout the country, commented: “With the current economic climate and forecasts over the next few years, it is with great regret that we at Doca UK will no longer be looking after the interests of Doca Spain.
“After several meetings and discussions with Doca Spain we have decided to concentrate on growing our business with a wider product portfolio in line with current economic conditions.
“I will be making a full announcement shortly defining our direction, expectations, and announcing our new range of products that we believe will sit comfortably into the current market conditions, and still maintain the quality and design aesthetics that our clients have come to expect.”
