The Heritage Centre has been created to take the visitor on a journey through the family-owned Blum’s history. It spans the company’s inception in Austria in 1952, through to its research, development, quality and testing.

Reflecting its research and development, there is also The Virtual Reality Pod, which showcases a 3D film of the manufacturing process to visitors.

The space has also been created as a training facility for retailers and manufacturers, with a Technical Room which can cater for up to 50 delegates and a Retailer Room.

An apartment features in the Retailer Room, with a kitchen created by designers and one created by Blum to show the most effective use of space.

Completing the Experience Centre is the Consumer Room, which boasts full-sized, movable cabinets, for retailers’ clients to test-drive their kitchen plan.

Sales and marketing director of Blum UK David Sanders described the Experience Centre as “A place where ideas and relationships are brought to life. It’s a state-of-the-art facility where our partners can experience not only Blum’s products but also its services, its people, its heritage and culture.”
