Solus UK supplier for Italian appliance manufacturer

Bradshaw Appliances has been appointed the sole importer of Italian appliance manufacturer Steel in the UK, succeeding Mark Scott who has distributed the brand for the past six years.

The company imports and distributes luxury domestic appliances and commercial catering equipment and Steel will add to its brands which include ATAG, Gaggenau, Liebherr and Fisher & Paykel.

National Sales Manager of Bradshaw Appliances, John Hamlin said: ‘We have been discussing distribution with Steel SRL Italy and the opportunity to take the brand forward in the UK whilst also providing support to existing Steel dealers.

Situated in Carpi near Bologna, Steel was founded in 1999. It is owned and run by the Po family, who are the third generation to be involved in the production of range cooking equipment. The original company was set up by Angelo Po in 1922 and he manufactured the first handmade stoves and later, produced  appliances for restaurants. Today Steel manufactures bespoke range cookers and hoods.
