Bathroom distributor plans to move into Europe
Bathroom distributor Claygate is celebrating its 25th anniversary of trading in 2015.
The family business, which originally supplied Artex and British Gypsum products, was acquired in 1990 by brothers Mel and Andrew Streek, who are now managing directors of the company.
In the same year, they transformed the business to become a bathroom distributor and to sell branded alongside unbranded products.

This year, Claygate is set to expand into mainland Europe with Bathroom Brands selling Arcade, Britton, Burlington and Clearwater brands in France, Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg. It will also promote and sell its own brands including G and Artesan.
The company will be hosting an Open Day in June to showcase its products and services to customers, and allow them to gain an insight into its operations, as well as to celebrate a quarter of a century of trading.
