Operating from 100 facilities worldwide, worktop manufacturer has 20% growth
Spanish worksurface manufacturer, the Cosentino Group announced an estimated turnover of €715m turnover for 2015, representing a growth of 20% over 2014, at its annual strategic conference in Almeria.
In addition, the company reported it had opened more than 10 Cosentino Centres, two Cosentino Cities in New York and Milan and had taken over a Canadian distributor, based in Toronto.
As a result, it meant Cosentino ended the year with over 100 of its logistics and sales facilities, and had grown its workforce by 685 employees worldwide.
The company cited the growing importance of its Dekton collection, as well as sales of its granite surfaces, Sensa by Cosentino.
Its granite business is based in Vitoria, Brazil, and is currently undergoing expansion with warehouses and installation of machinery to double the production for export.
The Cosentino Group distributes products and its Silestone, Dekton and Sensa by Cosentino brands in more than 80 countries, with more than 90% of its turnover coming from international markets.
