Employees to take on toilet-themed obstacle course, raising money for WaterAid
Croydex is taking part in theTough Sh!t challenge, on October 15, which sees its 11-strong team of runners tackle a 10K toilet-themed obstacle course to fundraise for WaterAid.
Employees from the Andover-based bathroom accessories specialist hope to raise £2,500, which will go towards installing toilets in communities without this basic facility.
Croydex retail commercial manager Dominick McHarg, who is taking part in the event commented:“It’s a shocking fact that 2.5 billion people worldwide don’t have access to a decent toilet. Many have no choice but to go in the open, which can be embarrassing and also spread diseases.

“We believe we have a wider responsibility to help communities across the world suffering from a lack of water and sanitation. That is why we are supporting WaterAid and we hope our fundraising efforts will make a profound difference to the lives of people who are otherwise deprived of something as simple as safe toilet facilities.”
Tough Sh!t features 20 toilet-themed obstacles, including the Toilet Toil, the Floaters and the Porta Slide.
