David Hollander takes CEO role at Aqualisa

Managing director of Dyson, David Hollander has been appointed as chief executive officer of the Aqualisa Group and will start his new role on February 3.

Prior to his six year tenure at Dyson, Hollander held a number of senior sales and commercial directorships. These included roles at Total Home Entertainment and the Walt Disney Company, where he was responsible for a variety of brands distributed across a range of channels, from independent retailers to national buying groups.

Chairman of Aqualisa Jonathan Halford commented: “I am absolutely delighted that David is joining Aqualisa. He brings a wealth of experience – most notably from his previous position as the managing director of the UK and Irish division of Dyson – where David led a hugely successful growth strategy that was underpinned by Dyson’s outstanding product innovation.

“David’s appointment is a significant step towards delivering the growth that has been targeted by our new ownership and we are very pleased that he will be at the helm during this exciting new chapter in Aqualisa’s development.”

Hollander commented, “I am thrilled to be joining such a unique company where innovation is as much part of its heritage as its future. The next phase of Aqualisa’s growth promises to be extremely exciting indeed and I am relishing the prospect of helping the business, its people and its investors achieve another level of success.”
