Franke retailers raise over £4,600 for Marie Curie

 

Award-winning cookbook author and culinary historian, Regula Ysewijin (pictured), created a Victoria sponge cake for this year’s tea parties and Franke donated two to each participating retailer.

Franke also provided retailers with free marketing packs which included posters, postcards and tent cards to help promote the event in their local communities.

A total of 87 retailers across the country and supporters raised £4,697 for the charity for this year.

Franke has been supporting the event for the past six years and has raised a total of over £28,000 for Marie Curie which supports people living with a terminal illness, and their families.

Franke communications manager Jeanette Ward said: “We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support of all of our wonderful retailers who have supported the ‘Blooming Great Tea Party’ events both this year, and since we launched in 2014.

“To have raised a total of £28,000 during that time to support the incredible work of Marie Curie is something they can all be proud of and we’d like to thank them for the hard work they put in to making the event a success.”

Franke manufactures sinks, taps including filter water and instant hot water models worktops and hoods.
