Great British Bake Off (GBBO) winner provides cake recipes for local events

As part of its More in Store campaign, Franke has partnered with Great British Bake Off winner Frances Quinn to provide independent retailers ‘celebrity’ cakes to host an event for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Francis Quinn has created three exclusive recipes for Franke to help raise money as part of the Blooming Great Tea Party, which runs June 20-29 . The sink manufacturer is funding the professional baking and delivery of cakes to retailer’s showrooms.

Using them as a centrepiece of their local event, retailers can them serve them, sell them or auction them in aid of the Marie Curie Cancer Care charity.

Franke will also provide participating retailers with a marketing pack to help promote the event in their local community, including posters and press release templates, which can be issued to generate publicity.

The charity event and participating retailers will be promoted by Franke on Twitter and Facebook. Retailers are requested to register to host a charity tea Party via Franke’s More in Store website and can then order the quantity of cupcakes they need for their event.

Marketing director of Franke UK, Neil Clark commented: “Our More in Store campaign is all about supporting our independent specialist retailers to help them grow and prosper in their local area. By partnering with Frances Quinn and our retailers, it gives us the opportunity to work together to raise funds for the very worthy cause of Marie Curie Cancer Care.”
