Yorkshire-based worktop supplier Gemini Worktops is targeting growth, following a funding deal of £150,000 with Reward Finance Group.

The quartz and solid surface supplier, based near York, already has a working capital facility with Reward.

Earlier this year, Gemini Worktops opened a showroom at its headquarters to complement its online business.

It has been equipped with workspaces which can be used by architects, interior designers, builders and developers as a meeting place with clients.

According to Gemini, key to its next stage of growth is investment in stock to ensure it can meet growing demand.

It has recently launched Gemini Quartz Ultra HD surfaces, which it claims is the first worktop material of its kind to be sold in the UK.

In addition, the funding will also support the growth plans for Gemini’s sister company Mindful Memorials, which has eight branches across Yorkshire.
