Owain Harrison to head up built-in division
Hoover Candy UK has made changes to its management structure for its built-in appliances which sees its Hoover, Candy and Baumatic merge into one division.
The Built-in division will be led by Owain Harrison, previously marketing director of Baumatic, who has been promoted to UK head of sales and marketing Hoover Candy Baumatic (Built-in).
In addition, Sarah Beechey joins the business as head of sales (Built-in) for all three brands. Beechey joins from LG, where she held several management positions, latterly as general manager for consumer electronics, and will report directly to Owain Harrison.
UK head of sales and marketing for Hoover Candy Baumatic (Built-in) Owain Harrison said: “Sarah represents a key change in our strategy as we now seek to leverage the huge potential and cooking knowledge we have across all our brands within the UK market.”
Maurizio Severgnini will take a head office role as director OEM – strategic Ppartnerships, which the Group reports will help secure its “global ambition to develop its presence in strategic categories”.
The centralised Built-in division will be based at the Hoover Candy Baumatic office in Reading, Berkshire. The Freestanding commercial division for Hoover Candy UK retains its current structure.
