Hoover Candy opens trade showroom

Freestanding showroom opened at Bromborough site on the Wirral

Household appliance manufacturer Hoover Candy has opened a showroom for its trade customers and partners at its Bromborough site, on the Wirral.

The showroom, which features its latest appliances including Wi-Fi connected Wizard range, was opened by the Mayor of the Wirral, Cllr Les Rowlands.

Marketing director of Hoover’s freestanding division, Steve Macdonald commented: “This is a fantastic facility, which includes an Innovation Zone to showcase our very latest Hoover and Candy designs before they are even released to the market.

“This investment also demonstrates our increased support for retailers as the showroom’s primary purpose is to provide a one-top destination for them to view the latest innovations in our range and meet with our product experts.”

Having over 100 years of experience of manufacturing appliances, Hoover Candy currently employs over 550 people in the UK. According to the company, within the last three months Hoover Candy has grown market share and reports 1:10 white good appliances purchased in the UK is a Hoover or Candy appliance.

Steve McDonald concluded: “The showroom exemplified our position as a market leader, delivering a hub for our entire customer and partner base and enabling us to share company developments, market insights and product trends.”
