Kitchen furniture manufacturer to expand Oldham premises

Kitchen furniture manufacturer HPP has been granted planning permission for a £1million extension to its existing Oldham facility. The new addition will increase the size of the premises to 126,000 sq ft, enabling the company to offer a range of stock doors, ClicBox carcasses and extended ranges of sliding doors. This latest move will create 10 more jobs, whilst also ensuring HPP remains in Oldham, with work on the site extension expected to be completed later this year. Operations director Martin Hill commented on the expansion plans: “The move comes just at the right time as HPP are seeing continued growth and development, meaning we need these additional resources to maintain and improve our high levels of customer service, production targets and overall customer satisfaction.” Chairman at HPP Stephen Hill also commented: “It’s an exciting time for HPP as our customer base continues to grow and our product offering expands in terms of choice and variety. This particular development will help us to further support our customers with the usual high quality kitchen and bathroom doors they’ve come to expect from us but within much tighter timescales.”
