Managing director Stuart White used two stands to showcase kitchen and bathroom products

For the first time, Bushboard was exhibiting across two stands at kbbBirmingham – one dedicated to bathrooms and one for its kitchen collections – as managing director Stuart White felt being in one hall or another as it had on previous occassions was a “missed opportunity”.

It showed bath panelling on its Nuance stand, while the kitchen stand displayed its latest Omega laminate collection and previewed solid surface acrylic. In addition, the company had joined with tool manufacturer Festool to develop training for its ready-made quartz, which is tailored on site.

Managing director of Bushboard, Stuart White said the show had been a success for the company, stating: “We’ve taken more enquiries in the first two days than we’d taken the whole of the show last time. So we’re just thrilled.”

He said the show, which had “more of a European quality” had “more of a buzz” and, in fact, saw the noticeable change in energy of the industry six to seven weeks before the event with an uplift in the business.

A full review of kbbBirmingham will appear in the April issue of Kitchens & Bathrooms News.
