Parent company of Dutch kitchen manufacturers Keller Kitchens and Bruynzeel Kitchens, DKG has been awarded level 5 on the CO Performance Ladder; the highest possible.

Keller owner hits sustainability heights

The CO Performance Ladder is a measurement system, initiated in the Netherlands to showcase ‘green’ credentials and provide an advantage in tenders.

By achieving level 5, DKG demonstrates that the company has taken steps to reduce its own CO emissions throughout its organisation, supply chain and sector.

The DKG Group has reduced CO emissions throughout the business; from purchasing to production, to export.

Becoming a carbon neutral manufacturer in 2017, the DKG Group reached level 3 on the CO2 Performance ladder in 2021 and is on the journey to become carbon negative.

The increasing importance of sustainable initiatives, like this, is partly driven by the ambition of the Dutch government, which aims to achieve a fully circular economy by 2050.
