Group advertisement manager Craig Jowsey aims to raise £30,000, as part of a 10-strong team

Group advertisement manager of Kitchens & Bathrooms News Craig Jowsey is running the Virgin London Marathon on April 24,  to raise money for the NSPCC.

Part of a 10-strong team, called Jog On, Jowsey hopes to raise £30,000 for the children’s charity.

The NSPCC runs ChildLine, a support helpline which is now in its 30th year, and has counselled 4million people in 12 bases around the UK, by a team of 1,400 volunteers.

ChildLine still answers a phone call or email every 25 seconds, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, which amounts to 3,400 children contacting the organisation each day.

However, currently only three out of four contacts received can be answered, and the money will go towards funding this service.

You can make a donation; help support ChildLine, the NSPCC, and Jog On to reach its target by visiting the runners’ Virgin Money Giving.
