Lakes has been nominated for its advertising campaign, which has been designed to reflect its marketing and business strategy.

The adverts convey Lakes products in the context of lifestyles, “making the showering space the hero”, including glass, hardware, frame and tray.

It is designed in a grid layout so imagery and messaging can be combined “in an impactful and memorable way, while building a recognisable platform for the brand”.

Lakes has also been recognised for its ‘Safe Working in the Home’ guides, for the Best Stakeholder /Internal Communications Award.

The industry-wide campaign was developed to help get the bathroom industry working again after lockdown and was endorsed by the Bathroom Manufacturers Association and supported by the Builders Merchants Federation.

Its aim was to give installers the confidence to go into people’s homes and homeowners the reassurance it is safe to have bathroom fitters working in their home.

Sales & marketing director Mike Tattam commented: “To be shortlisted for two CMAs is fantastic, and we welcome the positive news in what has been a challenging year for everyone.

“I’m particularly pleased to see our efforts recognised for supporting the industry with our ‘Safe Working’ guides, helping businesses get back to work in a ‘new normal’.

“We’re looking forward to the virtual event at the end of November and keeping our fingers crossed!”

Winners of the CMAs will be announced at an online presentation on November 26.
